STORY

Ceylan, a young woman full of dreams and innocence, longs for a life where she can study and choose her own path, but her cruel reality is shaped by a father drowning in debt who sees her as nothing more than a bargaining chip. Forced into a marriage arrangement with an old gangster already tied to another family, Ceylan takes the only chance she has and escapes, slipping away from her father’s watchful eyes.
Her destiny changes when she crosses paths with Karan, a wealthy businessman who is struck by love the very first moment he sees her. Their meeting sparks the beginning of a fragile romance built on trust and hope, but their happiness is short-lived.
When Karan’s brother is murdered, Ceylan finds herself trapped in a nightmare, wrongfully accused of a crime she did not commit. Evidence mounts against her, and the people she thought might protect her instead push her into further despair. Karan, broken by grief and betrayal, takes a shocking step by marrying his brother’s widow and forcing Ceylan to live as his second wife, a “kuma” in a household filled with resentment, jealousy, and hidden rivalries.

Between the hostility of Karan’s family, the weight of tradition, and the bitterness of a husband who cannot see beyond his anger, Ceylan must fight for survival. Her struggle is no longer just about escaping her father’s cruelty but about proving her innocence, holding on to her dignity, and finding out whether love can survive in a world where betrayal and revenge run deeper than family ties.
Kuma is not just a love story but an emotional storm of passion, sacrifice, and fate that leaves the audience questioning whether Ceylan’s heart will find freedom or be crushed under the burden of secrets that surround her.
