Shahmaran Theme:

The epic tale of Shahmaran tells how a man betrayed his relationship with nature and killed a creature he loved. It’s a story of guilt and regret, and the legend holds that the only way for humanity to pay for its sins is for a person to fall in love with a snake-marked creature again. But this time, fate will have to work in the other direction, and a human being will have to give his life in the name of love.

Shahmaran STORY:

The Persian myth of the snake queen and her human lover serves as the basis for the Series’s plot. Additionally, the story focuses on how Sahsu and Maran are related to the myth. In this story, Sahsu (Serenay Sarikaya), a Ph.D. candidate from Istanbul, travels to Adana to give a guest lecture at a university. However, she also finds time to give a different kind of lecture to her estranged grandfather, Davut (Mustafa Ugurlu), who abandoned her now-deceased mother decades earlier. However, Sahsu has even worse difficulties than this.

Maran (Burak Deniz), the neighbor of her grandfather, and his entire family are intimately involved in a mysterious destiny that they feel Sahsu is connected to. Once omens and other signs start happening, it turns out that they are probably correct.

Review of Shahmaran:

The leads did excellent acting, especially Serenay Serikaya. There should be a second season because the story is so engaging. The superb combination (especially the protagonists), mystical twists, romance, and excellent writing made Shahmaran fantastic.
