Dönence STORY:
Özgür (Caner Topçu) is a handsome and attractive young man who has devoted his life to his brother Rüzgar, who has Asperger’s Syndrome, and he is a unique child after losing his parents in a fire. Özgür is an instructor at the sailing club where his brother is enrolled. This club takes care of special children and helps them to get adopted by people. Özgür loves his brother so much that he left his captain job on the ship to take care of him, both brothers live on the island of Foça happily but still özgür struggle with the shortage of money.
Gecec(Sümeyye Aydoğan) is a young beautiful and energetic soul who lives in Istanbul with her parents and her sister Gülce, who is a special child, and the crowds and noise of Istanbul are getting increasingly tough to deal with Gülce. So Gece’s mother who loves her special child so much and to take care of her, get to know about özgür’s sailing Club in Foça and she decides to shift from Istanbul to Foça to which her husband does not agree initially but later he agrees to move so it will help Gülce. Gece also does not agree initially as she plans to visit the university and dreams of creating music along with her boyfriend (Emir) all summer holidays. But all her desires must be put on hold for a while. Gece not wanting to go away from her lover and all her goals in Istanbul, but suddenly she finds herself in Foça along with her own family.
özgür meets Gece there and he gets attracted to her in the first meeting, özgür also meets Gece’s family when he gets to know about Gülce’s condition he tells them to bring Gülce to his sailing club for which they agree and tell him that’s the reason they shifted there. Gece and her father who are not ready to accept Gülce’s condition and can’t handle her, try to be away from her and always run from taking her responsibility and that’s Gece’s mother who takes Gülce’s all responsibilities and takes care of her effortlessly.
